Aftercare

Care for it, as you would a memory

Your skin has just become home to a quiet piece of art.
Unless I’ve given you specific instructions for your piece, follow the steps below with care and patience to help it heal beautifully:

🔹 Remove the protective film after approximately two hours, then gently rinse the tattoo using lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap.

🔹 For the first night, reapply a fresh piece of film, without applying any cream.

🔹 The following morning, repeat the cleansing process with care.

🔹 Pat the tattoo dry using a clean, soft towel, never rub. Once the skin is dry, apply a thin layer of unscented moisturising cream. Massage it in gently until fully absorbed.

🔹 Continue applying the cream two to three times a day for at least 20 days. After that, moisturise only when the area feels dry or after showering.

🔹 Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching or applying cream to your tattoo.

🔹 Keep the area away from dirt and pet hair to avoid irritation or infection.

🔹 Avoid scratching or picking at the skin, even if it begins to itch or scab: this is a natural part of the healing process.

🔹 Wear clean, breathable cotton clothing over the tattoo to reduce friction and protect the area.

🔹 Refrain from any intense physical activity, including gym workouts or sports, that could cause excessive sweating.

🔹 Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and baths during the healing period.

🔹 Do not use tanning beds or expose the tattoo to direct sunlight until fully healed.
